40 Hour - Class D Training

Description:
The State of Florida requires all personnel working in Private Security Services to possess the Class D Unarmed Security Officer’s license. One of the requirements to obtain this professional licensure is that the applicant must complete a training curriculum, approved by the Division of Licensing, which complies with the requirements established in Florida State Statute 493 and Rule 5N-1. Effective January 01, 2012, this training requisite requires the applicant to complete a total of 40 hours of training before submitting their application for licensure.
