Class G Annual Qualification & Training

Description:
If you are a licensed private investigator or security officer and you work in an armed capacity, the State of Florida requires that you possess the Class G Statewide Firearms License. In order to renew this license, the licensee must complete 4 hours of training and weapons qualification each year from the date of license issuance.
The T.A.S. 4-Hour Class G Annual Qualification Course is designed to meet license renewal training standards, and much more. Participants will receive a review of important topics and updates on any changes made in statute or Rule. Each participant must pass a written examination and demonstrate firearms proficiency by passing the qualification course of fire established by the State of Florida.

- 150 cartridges of weapon specific ammunition
- Gun belt with under-belt and 4 belt keepers
- Speed loader pouch/Magazine pouch (with 2 speed loaders or 3 magazines)

* Approved Firearm - According to Florida Law, Security Officers and Private Investigators possessing the Class G Statewide Firearms License may only carry the following identified firearms while working in an armed capacity: .380 semi-automatic pistol, 9mm semi-automatic pistol, .38 caliber revolver, or a .357 caliber revolver with .38 caliber ammunition.
Absolutely NO live ammunition will be permitted into the classroom. If you own your own firearm and will be brining it with you to the training, please ensure the weapon is unloaded and properly encased. ALL FIREARMS WILL BE INSPECTED BY THE INSTRUCTOR PRIOR TO TRAINING!

FIREARM RENTAL FOR $50
If you do not own your own firearm and wish to attend this training, you may rent a firearm for the course. Firearm rental fee is $50 and includes; the weapon, holster, 150 cartridges of weapon specific ammunition, speed loader/magazine pouch, and 2 speed loaders or 3 magazines. You MUST bring/wear a 1½ to 2¼ inch belt for the mounting of the duty gear. If you have any questions, simply contact us for clarification.
